Google has the habit to publish little animations on important days, such as the 4th of July, Martin Luther King Day or Valentines day. These animations, called Doodles, appear right where the logo is usually located, at the top of the search bar. Some are short films, some are only pictures, some are interactive videos, but they are all very nice!
This one was published one Freddy Mercury's death anniversary, a few months ago.
I really like these animations. I think it demonstrates us really well how Google is creative and ahead of the market. On another point of view, it think it's a bit disappointing that Google's is mainly doing Doodle's concerning american interests. I would be cooler to see internationally themed doodles!
ReplyDeleteMoreover, I find very interesting the fact that Google chose "Don't Stop me Now" as the soundtrack of this particular Doodle. Queen are a group that was made famous because of songs like "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Another One BItes the Dust"... We could interpret this as an audacious decision!
